The Federation of Brahmin Associations of Southern Region (FEBAS) was launched at a function here on Saturday. Founded by S.Ve. Shekher, Member of Legislative Assembly, it urged the State government to provide seven per cent reservation for Brahmins.
Education assistance and computers were distributed to economically backward students. Social activists were honoured on the occasion.
